A short driving Day of 150 miles  took us to Cody, Wyoming, the town named for the world-famous Buffalo Bill Cody.  I started riding with Dick Dochnahl in the caravan’s “luggage truck” as we followed Dick’s brother Denny in his 1934 Packard.

We had a buffet dinner at the Hotel Irma, the establishment built by Buffalo Bill.  After dinner, we were treated to Dan Miller’s Western Music Show at the Cody Theater across the street.  In Cody, a nightly musical production for the tourists is not a big production,  The four performers greet the audience at the door as they come in, perform for an hour, and chat with the audience on the way out.
