Gibbs and John

Aside from members of my family (who are stuck with me no matter what!) there are two people in this world who have been my friends for 50 years and who still talk to me:  Gibbs Roddy and Jamie Jones. Both these upstanding gentlemen live in Concord, Massachusetts — the town I grew up in — and have raised wonderful families, become successful in their work, and contributed in countless ways to their communities.  Years can pass between meetings, and we pick up right where we left off.

The house where I grew up has been nicely updated by the “new” owners of the last 30 years.  I understand from the caretaker that the owner may be selling; I suspect its current market price will be a little higher than what my parents sold it for 30 years ago!
